Taking the photos for this post made me realised how ridiculously hard it is to get good images of highlighter on your face! I don't actually know how people do it - any tips would be appreciated. And sorry, yes it's another cheek product post!
I've never bought anything from MUA before, so this highlighter is my first introduction to the brand. Despite hearing good things about their products, I've always been a bit weary of their stuff because I feel like cheap makeup is usually poor quality (call me a snob, I know I know, sorry). I picked this up on a lunch break a while ago in Superdrup - it was only £3 so I thought I'd give it a go.
The highlighter itself has a pale pink/pearly tone. I thought this made a nice change from the more common gold or bronze highlighters that I seem to own! It's very subtle when on the skin, but it's perfect for daytime wear. It's a very soft formula and very easy to blend into the cheek bones. I've worn it above with my pale pink
'Katie' Illamasqua blush and they make quite a good pair.
Sorry about the slightly irregular posts at the moment, I"ve had a busy couple of weeks what with getting back from holiday, the AxCircus event and then my boyfriend's birthday all in very quick succession! I will hopefully be back to normal soon :)
Have you tried any MUA products? What do you think to this highlighter? x
