You're probably sick to death of these 2012 favourites posts by now, but I thought I'd join in anyway and add my favourites :)
This year I started using Estee Lauder Double Wear Light foundation and it's the best foundation I have found so far. Previously I was switching between 'drug store' foundations and Benefit Hello Flawless, but never found the kind of coverage I wanted until now. I pair this with Benefit's Boi-ing concealer and Rimmel Stay Matte powder for my ideal base.
My MAC 'Dainty' Mineralise Blush has been my favourite, and most regularly used, cheek product this year. It's the perfect shade for everyday use and so easy to apply early morning before work - you just can't go wrong really! I featured this in my 'favourite blushers' post here.
I'm very fickle when it comes to mascara, I'll just buy any old brand, which ever one's on offer. I've never found one that's good enough for me to buy again and again, so for me to include a mascara in this post is pretty controversial! I only bought the Maybelline 'Falsies, Flared' mascara in December, but it's already a firm favourite. It's great for curling and separating the lashes, I'm pretty sure I'll be buying it again. The Collection 2000 'Fast Stroke' liquid eyeliner always has been, and always will be, a firm favourite of mine so deserved a mention in this post.
Lush's 'Big' Sea Salt shampoo has also been a firm favourite this year. It's still quite strange using a shampoo with big chunks of salt in it, but it makes my hair lovely and soft and full of volume. I did a full review of the shampoo here.
No. 7 Beautiful Skin Hot Cloth Cleanser has been a regular part of my skincare routine since I bought it with one of Boots' £5 off No. 7 vouchers. It's so quick and easy to use and makes my skin feel amazing. It reduces redness and my makeup applies so smoothly after using this product.
What have been your favourite beauty products of 2012? Happy New Year! :) x
