Bellapierre Mineral Foundation

I've wanted to try a mineral foundation for a while now, they've always seemed like the perfect answer for those days when you don't want to be caked in makeup, but I've never wanted to jump in and buy a whole product without trying it first. CutECOsmetics have this amazing sample service which means that you can basically try before you buy! They make little sample sizes of brands such as Bellapierre, Inika, Lily Lolo and BM Beauty covering products like mineral foundations, blushers and bronzers.

I used this foundation over the Maybelline BB cream as more of a setting powder and it lasted pretty much all day at work. I applied the mineral foundation with my Real Techniques powder brush, which in all honesty was a bit too big for the small sample pot. I think the Real Techniques buffing brush would work better and is apparently designed for use with mineral foundations anyway!

Overall I like this product, but I'm glad I've had chance to test it first. I'd definitely recommend using the CutECOsmetics sample service to test smaller versions of products before you buy!

Sorry this isn't the most coherent of posts, I feel like I'm waffling but I'm really sleepy after work and Josh is nagging me to do the hoovering so we can watch a film. Waaah, woe is me!
Hope everyone is okay :) x
