Sorry for my massive face in the second picture, I cropped it because there was too much wall/door in the photo for my liking which means that my face is now laaaarge. Anyway! This is my new NARS blusher that I bought when I popped into Selfridges on my way home the other week.
The swatch on the NARS website looks really different to the blusher in the pan, just thought I'd mention that incase anyone is planning on buying it online! The formula is lovely - it's long lasting and it just glides on with my Real Techniques blusher brush. Just on a side note, does anyone else have this brush? Sometimes I find it a bit big and I really have to concentrate and hold the bristles together to stop giving myself massive rosey cheeks! Is that just me?
This is my first NARS purchase and I thought I'd stay away from the oh-so-popular Orgasm, as I wanted something a bit darker and less 'daytime'. I've been using this blusher lightly in the daytime, mixed with my MAC mineralise blusher in Dainty for a bit of a shimmer, then built up on it's own for a more dramatic matte evening look.
What's your favourite daytime and evening blusher? x
Love it! Personally I use a clinique one for both day and nights as it is really interchangeable! Also the formula works well for my skin as it's light to apply :) x
ReplyDeleteOoo I've never tried any clinique makeup but will have to give it a test soon! :) x
DeleteThat's a gorgeous colour on you. My go-to blush is sugarbomb from Benefit! x
ReplyDeleteThank you :) yeah, I love Benefit blushers too! x

Aww thank you! :) x
DeleteThis colour looks lovely on you. I have the RT brush also and I know what you mean about holding the bristles. It can be a little big to handle sometimes :)
ReplyDeleteHaha yaay, it's not just me then! If I don't hold them the bristles spread out too much and cover my whole face haha x
DeleteThis really suits you :) xo
ReplyDeletethanks my dear :) x
DeleteWow ,great Colour ,you look fabulous!

Thank you! :) x
DeleteThat's lovely! It's not one I've seen before but I think I actually prefer it to Orgasm! On a side note, I was going to grab the blush brush this week, would you recommend it? :) xx
ReplyDelete:) yes I would, it is a great brush, really soft but picks up product well. You do have to be careful if you don't want too much blush on though, but holding the bristles close does help :) x
DeleteSuch a lovely colour! You look gorgeous! xo
ReplyDeleteThanks so much :) x
DeleteThis really suits your colouring, it looks lovely! :) x

this is a beautiful blush- I have to try it out in person. I currently just use the one blush by Sleek makeup in flamingo. I use a little for daytime looks and a lot for evening looks- its bright pink and a little goes a longg way but I have a simular problem with my blusher brush and usually just coat a small side with blusher and smooth it on with the rest of the blush.

DeleteI always think my DIYs are a little too simple for other people to be really impressed with but I like to give people inspiration. If i can do it anyone can

This blush looks lovely, I don't have the RT blush brush yet, but I will soon add it to my collection. I don't use a blusher on daily basic, as I have naturally pink cheeks, and if I do I normally go for blushes with hint of brownish colour. x
ReplyDeleteThis is such a pretty colour, I've not even heard anything about this shade before.. I don't think?!
ReplyDeleteIt really suits you and appears to give you a nice flush of colour. I'm thinking I need (obviously need!) something from NARS as I don't own anything, thinking maybe a blusher.. xx
I love this blush! I love it for night time as well! I think it's a great color for daytime as well during fall/winter. I also totally understand how you feel about the RT blush brush, so awkward but amazing! I also recommend the stippling brush for blush!
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by my blog! You're so lovely, will def be following! ^_-
love this! looks great on you, too. I've been loving benefit blushes lately myself.
