Vintage Sewing Box

I bought this gorgeous vintage lilac sewing box from Catherine (click here for her blog - it's awesome) who runs www.laceandliquorvintage.com. I just wanted to post about it and show it off!

It came packaged beautifully! First of all... pink postage bag!? Amazing. Then pink tissue paper and bubble wrap. Trust me to get excited about the packaging haha.

The sewing box itself is in really good condition, the material inside is perfect! The inside of the lid is padded for storing pins and needles. Such lovely colours too. I can't wait to transfer some of my sewing stuff over into it, at the moment I'm using old GlossyBoxes which are good but nowhere near as cute as this!

I recommend you go and check out Catherine's blog and shop for more vintage goodness! :) x

  1. That is gorgeous inside - the fabric is in such great condition! I prefer the vintage sewing box to the modern ones out there, modern ones seem to lack style!

    1. I agree, I'm going to have it as an 'on-display' sewing box rather than in a cupboard! x
