Skin colour and black dotted tights - Primark, Stippling Brush & Powder Brush - Real Techniques,
Shampoo, conditioner & Backcomb in a bottle miniatures - Umberto Giannini
I'm going away to Bath for a few days next week and our current shampoo and conditioner in the shower are the massssive bottles of Tresemme, so I wanted to get something smaller that wouldn't take up valuable clothes space in my bag (or break my shoulder carring it round). I usually use a bit of Batiste when I'm backcombing my hair but thought I'd try this mini bottle instead, see how it goes!
I've definitely jumped on the Real Techniques bandwagon with these but see below for the disaster that was my previous powder brush. So I was in desperate need of new brushes.
What even is this!?
Crap bristles and no handle.... hmm it was about time I got some new ones!
I haven't tried them yet, but I'll let you know how I get on :)
Has anyone tried the Umberto Giannini products or the Real Techniques brushes? What did you think?
x
hahahaahha, that old brush is just beautiful! Can't understand why you would have even considered buying new ones ;) xoxo
ReplyDeletehahah, I know! I honestly don't know why I didn't get round to buying one sooner! I'm hoping that the results of the Real Techniques brush are going to be amazing compared to the old one! x
Deletemade me laugh haha :) yeah, real techniques are amazing, bought my first about a month ago and don't know how I lived without! xoxo
DeleteCute tights and you definitly deserved some new brushs!
ReplyDeleteOh this reminds me to get some new brushes! Mine are just as bad!
ReplyDeleteI'd be interested to see how the backcomb in a bottle works out for you. I know lots of people who swear by it but for me it doesn't do a thing. I'm starting to wonder if I'm not doing it right lol.

I really want to try Real Techniques brushes. They look so good :)xx
ReplyDeleteHow did you find using the Real Techniques stippling brush? How you been using it for foundation? I may order one this evening or tomorrow from the Boots website as my local store doesn't stock them! :( xxx
ReplyDeleteOww thank you commenting back :) I'm so pleased to hear that brush works well with liquid foundation! :D I'm going to order one after I've posted this, thank you! I use a mac brush at the minute and it's great but it sheds so much hair, I'm actually suprised there's any left. Ha! Ooh that's nice that we started our blog at the same time :) I'm really enjoying it so far, are you? What's the secret to attracting people to reading your blog? Because I have absolutely no idea!! Ha :) xxxx
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried the Real Technique brushes before but I have been looking to get my hands on some. They're not readily available where I am yet :(. You'll have to update with your thoughts on them xx
ReplyDeleteI keep meaning to do this! I'll try and get a review up soon :) x
