Garnier 'Miracle Skin Perfector' BB Cream

I received 3 sample sachets of this BB cream after putting my details in on the Garnier Facebook page. I was looking forward to trying it as I hate having a heavy, cakey feeling face during the summer. These past few warm days have been ideal to try it out!

Application: I found a little goes quite a long way with this product! I used just under one sachet for my whole face. The cream is really smooth and easy to apply, it covered my skin evenly.

Feel: My first reaction was that it felt very greasy on my skin. When the product began to sink in the greasy feeling did start to go, but it took around 20mins for it to fully soak in. It has left my skin feeling slightly sticky still, but it doesn't look quite so shiny anymore. It does feel very light on my skin, unlike some foundations.

Coverage: The parts of my skin that have no major blemishes look really clear and even, if my whole face could look like that it would be amazing! However, the cream has not covered areas where I have redness very well at all.

I've used a bit of Benefit Boi-ing concealer on my problem areas and a light dusting of Rimmel Stay Matte powder to remove the last bit of shine and the coverage is a little bit better. I would only wear this in the daytime, if I was just popping to the shops, or on a summer holiday as an alternative to a tinted moisturiser maybe. I don't think I will be buying the full size version, but I would definitely consider it if it was less greasy and had slightly better coverage! Overall, it's not awful but not amazing either.

What a great conclusion to a review! Haha. Has anyone else tried this Garnier BB cream? Or tried any that seem better than this one?

In other news I've set up a specific twitter account for my blog.  Click here to follow me :)

  7. I've not tried them, I love the idea of them but I don't think I'd use it. Max Factor second skin is a brilliant light foundation for summer x
